The term “antiperspirant” is regulated by the FDA as an OTC (over the counter) drug. Although the FDA reviews Individual antiperspirant active ingredients for safety – we believe the entire premise of needing a drug to stop a natural bodily function wrong. Sweat is our healthy way of cooling down the body – the point of deodorant should be to stop the odor, and minimize (but not block) the sweat.
The way we think about sweating and deodorant ought to change. We support natural deodorants because we think they are a better product for your natural health and well-being. Some people are concerned aluminum causes cancer. Although there is a lot we still do not know, there is currently no strong epidemiologic studies in the medical literature that link breast cancer risk to antiperspirant use.
We use 100% natural, whole, premium – and even – edible ingredients. Everything in our product is USDA Certified Organic – except Magnesium Hydroxide (which, while natural and sourced from the Dead Sea, cannot be certified organic at this time). We are a raw, natural product that uses sustainably sourced ingredients and is assembled at a Certified B-Corporation.

Our All-Natural formula works with your body to reduce sweat, odor, and irritation. Our blend of shea butter, carnauba wax, arrowroot powder, and coconut oil form the base of our product. This blend helps naturally keep skin clean and dry, without unnaturally clogging your pores as conventional anti-perspirants do.
Our specific natural deodorizers are the best in the business: Magnesium Hydroxide offers deodorizing without the rash and itchiness of baking soda. Zinc Oxide provides an extra mineral boost and works in tandem with the Magnesium. Aloe extract provides further anti-inflammatory benefits, and our unique essential oil blends provide a pleasant aroma.
Regarding Magnesium, here is what certified nutritional practitioner Kelly Maia Agnew had to say: “In general, magnesium’s known to regulate a number of our enzymes, allowing them to function properly and support our body’s natural chemical reactions.”
All of our deodorants are baking soda free, please look at ingredient list to make sure you are not allergic to Coconut oil, shea butter (nut allergy), or essential oils. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Keep in mind if you are coming from a conventional antiperspirant, we recommend an underarm “detox”, and to give your body an adjustment period of 1-4 weeks.

Give your body time to adjust to a new deodorant, usually 1-4 weeks. stick with it for several weeks for your body to adjust.

If sensitivity is not a big concern, try a line of baking soda deodorants to see if it works better with your body’s chemistry.
Coming from a conventional anti-perspirant:
Yes, absolutely. With conventional antiperspirants, aluminum clogs the pores. When you switch to a natural deodorant your pores will open and you will initially sweat more. The “biosphere” of your underarms will take some time to adjust but ultimately your skin will thank you.
Coming from another Natural Deodorant
If your previous deodorant used baking soda, there will be an adjustment period. Baking soda, while a good cheap and natural deodorizer, causes sensitivity issues in many people because the baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) alters natural the pH of your underarms in a way that Magnesium Hydroxide does not.
We only test our products on homo-sapiens that volunteer. Adult humans who have given consent. Certified cruelty free through PETA and leaping bunny. No ingredients or products are tested on animals (well, I guess humans ARE animals).

Sweating is a natural and healthy body function. You may experience some wetness but should not stink. Even though our deodorant has anti-perspirant qualities – we do not (and will never) clog your pores – so you may still sweat. The carnauba wax will help block / limit the pores, and the arrowroot soaks up any wetness. Anti-perspirant is a federally defined term from FDA. Anti-perspirant MUST to contain aluminum, we DON’T.
Under extreme workouts, heat, or stress – reapply as necessary.
